2. TO IDENTIFY A FLANGE BY COMPARING THE DIMENSIONS TO A STANDARD, SELECT THE FLANGE BY THE MEASURED OUTSIDE DIAMETER (O.D.) OR THE MEASURED CIRCUMFERENCE (Cir.). THE MEASUREMENTS WILL VARY SOME DUE TO TOLERANCE. BECAUSE DIFFERENT FLANGES MAY HAVE THE SAME MEASURED OUTSIDE DIAMETER OR CIRCUMFERENCE, THIS METHOD MAY REQUIRE THAT YOU COMPARE YOUR FLANGE MEASUREMENTS TO ONE OR MORE "PREVIOUS" OR "NEXT" FLANGES FOR POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION.  CLICK HERE TO VIEW A FLANGE IDENTIFICATION WORKSHEET.
