3.0 Equipment Made Without
Assembly Welding
WOODCO USA manufactures all equipment "made without assembly welding" from
forged steel, normalized and rough machined as necessary to remove excess
stock before quenching and tempering. All heat treating performed using
selected equipment to optimize uniformity of material properties and Brinell hardness.
"Made without assembly welding" means the part
does not include welding as an assembly step. Welding may always come into
play for cladding, overlay, inlay, and repair welding necessary because of
service requirements or field damage. Users sometime use the expression "one
piece construction" interchangeably with "made without assembly welding".

made without assembly welding have a practical maximum overall length of 10
